We welcome your input and are always looking for fresh ideas, specifically now, as our goals for the school year must shift and adjust according to the needs of the students, teachers and staff during our current state.
All Board positions are currently available and can be shared positions.
President: Attend and facilitate monthly OSPTO meetings. Point person for board information. Check mail. Prepare monthly meeting agendas with the Secretary. Sign checks with the Treasurer.
Vice President: Attend monthly OSPTO meetings. Perform the duties of the President in his/her absence, resignation, or inability to serve. Oversee fundraising.
Secretary: Attend monthly OSPTO meetings. Prepare monthly meeting agendas with President. Prepare and distribute announcements via the email list to include OSPTO meeting minutes. Maintain OSPTO minutes and forward to school web administrator for posting and forward to all OSPTO Board members within two weeks of recorded meeting.
Treasurer: Attend monthly OSPTO meetings. Act as custodian of funds and perform all banking activities for the OSPTO. Maintain up-to-date, accurate financial records of the OSPTO. Receive all funds of the OSPTO, including donations, dues, and fundraising sales and contributions. Provide a written and oral financial report of the receipts and expenditures quarterly at OSPTO Board meetings and at other times upon request of the OSPTO Board. Perform and complete timely filing of all federal and state tax returns and any other financial reports pertaining to the PTO's 501 (c)(3) status. Prepare any needed financial data requested by the Auditor.
Parent Representative (up to 6 persons): Attend monthly OSPTO meetings. Perform additional support duties as needed by the PTO Board.
